Chesky Friedman

Founder & CEO

Chesky founded Nexa Infrastructure after more than a decade managing complex construction and infrastructure projects across New York City. Throughout his career in project management and general contracting, he repeatedly saw projects delayed because utility infrastructure fell into the gap between the owner, contractor, engineers, and utility companies, with no single party taking full ownership.

That experience led him to build Nexa Infrastructure around a simple idea: one company should own the entire utility process from planning through energization.

Today, Chesky leads Nexa's client relationships, preconstruction, estimating, and overall utility strategy. He oversees project execution through the Nexa Client Portal, giving clients complete visibility into every milestone, agency interaction, and next step.

His philosophy is straightforward: developers should focus on building their projects, not chasing utility companies.

Moshe Rosenberger

Partner · Head of Field Operations

Moshe brings nearly 30 years of experience in New York City's construction and utility industry. As a former general contractor and utility construction veteran, he has built and managed complex projects across virtually every stage of construction, giving him a practical understanding of how utility infrastructure affects schedules, budgets, and project execution. His experience spans commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, working alongside owners, developers, engineers, utility companies, and subcontractors to keep challenging projects moving forward.

At Nexa Infrastructure, Moshe leads all field operations, overseeing crews, subcontractors, scheduling, sequencing, and day-to-day coordination. His experience allows him to identify potential conflicts early, coordinate multiple utility trades simultaneously, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with utility and agency requirements.

Nexa submits Con Edison service applications directly and opens utility cases on behalf of clients. This allows the team to become involved from the earliest stages of a project, creating a single point of responsibility for utility coordination from the initial application through construction, inspections, and final service energization.

Moshe's decades of experience as a general contractor and utility field leader provide Nexa with the practical knowledge needed to keep utility work moving from planning through completion, helping clients avoid delays, solve problems efficiently, and keep their projects on schedule.

"We built Nexa so a developer never has to chase a utility again."
