VaultSync's Unique Offerings.
Our work often begins at the start of the electric service process. Through our licensed electricians, VaultSync can assist in filing the Con Edison service request and opening the utility case on behalf of the project team. We coordinate with the electrical engineer to prepare the load letter and required documentation so the submission is organized and properly prepared from the beginning. Establishing the case early allows the project to enter the Con Edison system and begin discussions regarding the service configuration required for the building.
Once the case is active, VaultSync coordinates the planning and approval process for the vault infrastructure. This includes working with the project’s electrical and civil engineers, coordinating with Con Edison engineering teams, and organizing the information required for review. During this stage the vault type, location, and infrastructure requirements are confirmed based on the project’s electrical service needs.
After approvals are in place, VaultSync constructs and manages the install of all the vault infrastructure. This can include excavation, support of excavation, deep foundations where required, structural concrete installation, and sewer sump connections. We coordinate with our qualified contractors and field teams to ensure the vault is installed in accordance with Con Edison requirements and aligned with the project’s construction schedule.
VaultSync also installs the supporting infrastructure associated with the electric service, including conduit pathways between vault structures and preparation for Con Edison equipment installation. Once construction is complete, we assist the project team with the final coordination required for inspections, equipment placement, and energization of the electric service.
By managing the process from the initial filing through vault construction and energization, VaultSync provides a focused and organized approach to one of the most technical components of utility infrastructure on a development project.

Throughout the entire process, our Nexa Client Portal provides developers and project teams with a clear and organized view of the vault coordination process. Through the portal, clients can track case status, review milestones, access documents, and see where the project stands within the Con Edison process. This gives developers full visibility into the progress of their utility infrastructure without needing to track multiple conversations or systems.
